Jurassic Park: The Game 1 HD App Reviews

The control scheme is buggy. The story plods along. Nice graphics but thats not enough to make this forgivable or even playable.

I just downloaded the app on my iPad 2. I was surprised when I launched the app and was greeted with a very "laggy" experience. The beautiful cut scenes seemed more like slide shows and Im writing this review now as Im simply too put off to continue the app. Telltale, please fix this, your app has the potential to be amazing.

You should seriously get this game

I have tried a level at least 50 times and I cant pass it because it doesnt read my finger swiping and it says I failed a task because it lagged right past it. I wont be keeping this game if this is not fixed.

This game wont even load the first episode. Terrible app, not even worth 1/2 a star

this app started off good but on the iPad it dose not pick anything up and the swiping back and forth is to difficult to manage on the iPad. other then that graphics are great, the acting is good but if its to hard to manage then theres no point keeping it

The reason that I rated this only 3 stars was because you need to have an iPad 2 to play it. I would really appreciate it if this could work on the first iPad. You can get it on a normal iPad of course, but then game doesnt really... work. The animations are slow and choppy, and the game barely even notices if you touch something in it, making so frustrating that I stopped playing. However, if this game would work on all iPads, then I would give a much better rating.

I spent a couple hours playing this so its worth the 2.99 for the rest if they are the same. Good story and they did well with the design and storyline to fit the original movie. I feel like I am 10 years old again aha :P

If you are expecting this to be a "game", you will be let down. This is more of an interactive cinematic adventure. You do not get full-control, youre presented with challenges. Example: The character is running and falls in a video, youre prompted with "swipe screen repeatedly to get up", or the character hears a noise and prompts "tap here to investigate". The graphics are good on my iPad 2, as good as the screenshots above. There were a couple lags in the videos, but nothing major. Overall, its an impressive app, but the lack of any control gets boring, youre simply watching a Jurassic Park cartoon.

If you start a game in english, switch your iOS language to french and resume your game, the game will be stuck in french even if you switch your iOS preference back to english! I had to uinstall and reinstall the game. Also its very laggy on iPad (3rd gen), I would recommand an option to disable the retina display to improve the performance like touchgrind BMX.

It would be nice if it didnt crash on startup.... Fix this please.

And is a kind of interactive movie, done in an appealing way. I enjoyed the first part and just purchased the second. It captures the threatening atmosphere of the movies pretty well and is fun to play. Dont expect challenging puzzles, it is more about the atmosphere.

This game is like reliving all my childhood nightmares! Its fun and entertaining and has amazing graphics but is verrrrrrryyy laggy. Ive literally been killed more than 100 times just because it wont register my finger movements. Please please please fix it!!!

Telltale makes GREAT adventure games, and I plan on playing them all. But this one hardly feels like an adventure game. The few puzzles you have in the game are very basic and too easy. It felt more like I was watching a movie full of quick time events.... And I hate quick time events!!!! How do you go from Monkey Island to this?. Anyways, I still give this game a decent score because there is enjoyment to be had here. Just make sure this is not the first Telltale game you play, because it is far from there best.

Telltale did such a good job on all the episodes. I cant wait until there new upcoming game called fables check it out u will not be disappointed

I bought the game on my ipad 2 i was able to download from itunes and played the first episode but now I cant get episode 2! Tried downloading it and it says not available in CANADA!

Very good game but it crashes when i open it SO I CANT PLAY IT :(

How can I get a refund! I spent good money on this and it wont let me advance to new chapters. Horrible that they dont even offer an explanation. I suppose once they have your money they just screw you and let you twist in the wind. Nice company!
